Health-related fitness is physical movement that helps to prevent/treat a disease and have good health. There are 5 components that are health related: cardiovascular, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance and body composition. Its very important to maintain fitness so that the body can function properly. I'm doing the "Long Rope Challenges" which is very related to the cardiovascular endurance.
There are many different challenges you can take with the long rope. The one I'll be demonstrating is the "Jump-a-long-Challenge". Like a normal game of jump rope, there are 2 turners and jumpers. With a 10-meter jump rope start turning with out any jumpers. At the same pace each time adding a jumper until someone stop the rope. Alternate and rotate the turners and jumpers. As one jumps, the cardiovascular endurance increases, the heart pumps faster since its being exercised.
During the summer i will increase this component by doing the jump rope challenge. (:
